Welcome to the Rome Grade School Library of Dix, IL. Our goal is to provide the students with new and interesting books, updated resources and the library skills they'll need to find and locate books and information.  Our library offers online accessible computers, OPAC, (online public access catalog) a smart board and a children's listening area.

              New this year is our Accelerated Reader Wall Of Fame.

Students have quarterly goals to meet according to their grade levels. When they meet those goals their names go up on the Accelerated Reader Wall of Fame. They also get other incentives such as pencils, extra recess and the grand prize at the end is the Ice Cream Party!  As you can see we have great readers at Rome School.  We are very proud of them.
